An attempt to catch the moment inside an increasingly fast moving world. The street, understood as the way along which we meander through our lives, is the natural place for that kind of hunting the instant.
A photographer may try to distinct street photography from life logging, to maybe make it an artwork. To that purpose, an element of the unusual or of mysticism, reduction to the essential or brilliant technique can be used.
The triviality, the banality found in objects along the way as well as in artificial or natural structures draw my attention to what is normally disregarded. I try to give it a unique impact by isolating it in its own frame. To put meaning into the fading, into the transient flow of time. When the trivial is emphasized, somebody must have taken time for doing so. Somebody must have stolen some instants of time.
