Wadden Sea

The UNESCO world heritage site Wadden Sea is the largest tidal flat system in the world. During low tide, the area with its adjacent coastline provides a temporary space for recreational, sportive and touristic activities. People can reach offshore islands and undyked islets by walking or riding on the exposed muddy North Sea ground before the tide comes in again.
