"All the Things that Could Happen Next". Chapter: Winter And I thought 2020 was rough. At the end of 2020, like many I shared the optimism of a better year in 2021. Trump was gone and the end of the pandemic at least seemed in sight. Then in January I lost 2 people extremely close to me, 2 weeks apart. Both in tragic and somewhat unexpected circumstances. I spent the time immediately after in Polish and which was in the middle of a strict lockdown and terrible winter weather. Still, the brief time I was able to go out and walk around and take photos was my only relief and peace. Photography helped me get through this very dark time. I wasn't even sure I wanted to share them as this time I spent shooting was so much more personal for me. But as the months have passed I've decided to do something with the images from that time as part of a bigger ongoing project.
