‘Loosing Time’ is part of an ongoing bigger body of work, in which I examine reality, consciousness, self awareness and the conditioned mind.
As I practice my skills in not knowing, I gradually loose my interest in the sharp image. The sharp (or comprehensible) image freezes a moment in time.
Letting go my focus on ‘the known’ leads me to feeling, which has become a key element in every aspect of my photographic journey, but also in my personal life. I try to think as little as possible of the past and the future so I can be be conscious in this very moment. My out of focus and blurry images reflect the timelessness and bring my photographs as close to the present as possible.
