'Stories of the Sacred' is a visual journey exploring the diversity of faith, belief, and spiritual expression across cultures. Through intimate portraits of rituals, ceremonies, and sacred traditions, this project documents humanity’s connection to the divine, the ancestral, and the transcendent. It explores how people honor life, death, and the mysteries of existence through animism, mysticism, ancestral wisdom, and the living devotion of the world’s religions. While rooted in different belief systems and cultural contexts, these practices often reveal common human concerns: how we understand our place in the world, navigate life’s transitions, honor our ancestors, seek meaning beyond ourselves, and forge bonds of belonging through shared ritual and communal experience. By documenting these traditions, the project invites viewers to reflect on the enduring role of the sacred in human life and collective identity.
