For me, photography is not just about freezing a passing 'moment' or capturing a second with the mechanical click of the shutter. Photography is rewriting the past while passing through the present. Every human movement, every couple in love, and every architectural shadow I captured in the colorful cafe corners of Balat and the timeless silhouette of Eyüpsultan is actually the history of tomorrow. These frames do not tell the story of today; they tell how today became 'yesterday' when we look back tomorrow. These 13 stories I engraved with light are not meant to trap the moment, but to carry the past into the future.
