This is an ongoing project documenting the individual identities of the nearly two dozen Shoshone Native American reservations in the United States, and how they preserve their overall connection to being Shoshone. These small reservations are scattered across six states through myriad landscapes and have developed their own community identities over time. These images explore the once vast Shoshone territory now fragmented and isolated, and the efforts of the people who live in these areas to maintain their heritage.
