Masks-the second skin.
The here shown scenes were taken in a s/m studio . The people remain anonymous but they present and show much of themselves when they slip into this second skin. The mask reveals a lot about its wearer, his or her preferences and expectations. Thus, the masks become a second skin , a second face, and in the end a portrait of the carrier and his personal dark side. The choice which mask you choose says a lot about the character that hides behind. A character who hides but still has the desire to show himself to the outside.
„Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth“
The Critic As Artist, Oscar Wilde
"A mask tells us more than a face." - Oscar Wilde
