Be a clown

Like a german saying "zum Lachen in den Keller gehen", I invited more than two dozen people to my atelier in a cellar in cologne to become part of this unique photo-session. Some of my Clowns did their make up on their own, but mostly I did it and a few were made by make up artists. Wearing a clowns make up made the Models feel like another Character and I let them perform in their own way. So I get a collection of all types of clowns, funny ones, thoughtful ones, scary ones, happy ones and mysterious ones.
