Indigenous Portraits

First World Games of Indigenous Peoples from October 22 to 31, 2015 took place in Palmas – Tocantins, Brazil. The demonstration games with 22 invited countries and 24 Brazilian ethnic groups represented the largest gathering of native culture. I travelled to Palmas with the intent to document and create portraits of those native groups that are in many ways almost extinct.
