A desert life
"In the desert , there is sometimes nothing to photograph, and this for me is very modern . The desert is a fantastic lesson in modernity . First, because there is no one , and the only people that you come across will only suggest their eyes. And very quickly , you are far from people : four meters and people are far away." (Raymond Depardon - Errance)
After reading the book "Errance", I felt the need to leave the urban landscapes, to look for the desert. I had suddenly this will to explore the limit between the city, between life, and the desert and its solitude.
In Desert Life series, human is here without being here. He is a road, he is a caravan, he is a road sign, and in the same time he vanished in the mountains, in the dust. I am here alone, in the desert, looking after myself.
