Puran Dhaka, or Old Dhaka, was a rather unlikely subject for me. After all, it has always existed all around me—I live there. Thus, turning my camera on my home was like trying to find the unseen within my everyday routine. Old Dhaka had taught me to properly appreciate greasy food and the sleaziest of slang. But it was also the place I came to rediscover the feeling of holding on to things rather than letting go.
