These unconventional portraits of people drowsy began in June 2015 in Taipei City. These are just ordinary people. They settle at a table in coffee shops to spend time in exchange for a drink. They wait, they study or play with their smartphones ... And probably tired, unable to resist the soporific music places, their heads end up falling on the table. The flabby and inert bodies, forget their environment. Then begins their poses for an indefinite period. And these incongruous poses taken between the table and the chair on which they sit have become the focal point of my camera. These people never noticed my presence. I took them without Their knowledge, but with the precaution of not taking their face. Here's how NAP COFFEE started. Presently, this series has forty eight sleepers, and it is still ongoing.
