One of the poorest villages in Western Europe, Rabo de Peixe sits by the sea in the azorean island of S. Miguel. Forever present, the sea keeps families fed through fishery work for the men and children entertained during the long summer months when school is finished. This work is part document of a day in the life of a place where poverty is abundant and families large but also memory of my own childhood spent in the countryside where long summer months where spent in the streets playing with my gang of friends
