Fog softens and sharpens. It obscures distant objects - blurring outlines. Close up, fog droplets outline flowers and plants. They condense on spider webs, revealing gossamer strands that are otherwise barely visible. As a photographer, I am always on the lookout for fog. Catching the fog, which can come and go in an instant and evaporates from webs and flowers the moment the sun emerges, makes all the difference in so many photographs.
