More than 26.000 people arrived in Lesbos, Samos and Chios, Greece in 2014. They arrive in rubber boats and many of them drown on their way to Europe.
Around the Island of Lesbos you can find hundreds of rubber boats in secluded bays.
The Island is also a very touristic place where people from Europe relax and enjoy their holidays.
Many the tourists are aware that there is such a contrast in fate and fortune happening right before their eyes.
We decided to recover one of the destroyed rubber boats washed ashore and let it drift into one highly frequented beach.
What you see is the reaction of the tourists when the boat was already washed up.
