I was intrigued to photograph the nude in the landscape at Lake Powell. For most of my career, I have photographed strictly in my studio, home or on location. I found it incredibly exhilarating, fun and challenging at the same time. During my first visit to the lake I focused on the figure in the grand scale of the landscape. I loved the contrast of the human body and the dry arid rock formations. On my second visit I brought props and started to tell stories within my photographs.
