Silent Passages

Urban landscapes portrayed in this project immortalize isolated characters, shooted sufficiently at distance to not interfere in their thoughtful gait. No search of a memorable moment, or documentation of events of particular interest, but the detached observation as exploration’s method of the urban context and its actors, which returns a highly subjective and internalized vision. Through the exclusion of the mass and the subtraction of the chaos, the movement becomes slower as the time of exposure. The city of Rome remains in the background, recognizable by its layers, assisting through its immutability of the passing of anonymous life.
