Still life of an earthquake

24 agosto 2016 03:36:32 The earthquake shakes the earth in Abruzzo, Lazio, Marche and Umbria causing deaths, many injuries and extensive damage to public and private structures. I prefer not to write about the earthquake for respect for those who there is no more and those who have lost all. This small project just about me and my house. Indeed the house of my grandparents and before that of my great-grandparents and maybe even before my great-grandmother. A container so small but so great of memories, emotions, dreams, hopes. I'm glad I did. I wanted a memory of that night. Why I will not forget. I will not forget that I and my family are still here. I will not forget the emotions felt in seeing my home after that night, I will not forget that house that maybe there will be more, I will not forget that the earth will tremble again. PS The photos were taken during the inspection of the "Corpo Nazionale dei Vigili del Fuoco" and "Protezione Civile" technicians. The limited time available forced me to take pictures exclusively by hand. At the end of the inspection the house was declared unfit for use.
