The Beauty of Imperfection
Project info

This series of Light Painting photographs were completed over a year.
In Zen Buddhism, an Enso or Zen circle signifies many concepts. A closed circle represents the totality of experience and life. An incomplete circle depicts the imperfection found in all things, stop striving for perfection and instead to allow the universe to be as it is. That all things are perfect as they are.
I was inspired to capture single images of these concepts through my lens by capturing the sparks circling in motion. Capturing ‘The beauty of imperfection’
