30 Days Later…
This work took place in the 30 days after my divorce. Each day I went out out with my camera to notice the world around me, to loose myself in the present, to focus only on creating images.
The only restrictions I gave myself were to create at least one image and not think too much about the meaning. Some images worked as diptychs or triptychs and some on their own.
This has been an enjoyable project; the discipline of going out and shooting every day, with the added pressure of sharing the images at the end of the day, has been very good for me, emotionally and creatively. Ideas for developing work has emerged from this project, ideas which may not have surfaced otherwise.
