My People
Project info

I live what most would call a “marginalized life”. I am 62 years old and have only recently picked up the camera. When I did that suddenly I saw the my peers. These people with whom I had grown and aged are marvellous, colourful, creative and loving souls. I have so often seen (and been the subject of myself) 'Trophy Hunters' who look at marginalized people from a distance and somewhat from above. I move in and around this world trying to capture their unique individuality and humanity from inside – as a peer. Each of the images is a collaboration to a certain extent but mostly candid and impromptu.
