Haiti at the edge of chaos
In may 2016 I photographed the streets of Porte au Prince, capital of Haiti. In the midst of a political turmoil, the proud population invents an uncertain future. Shaken by an earthquake, political instability, corruption and a failing international response to the ongoing crisis, the population strives for survival. It is a dangerous capital. One can be shot for a few dollars. But in the meantime small shopkeepers get the city running.
