The Living Archaeology of Private Life

Brazilian artist and designer, Letícia works mainly with photography, video and artist’s book. Currently her work is focused on the perception of how architecture features affects people’s behaviors in public and private spaces, and how cities' growth changes the relation with the landscape. She has graduated in Graphic Design and Visual Arts and has also an MA in Visual Poetics. She received the Pierre Verger National Prize of Photography and the Itamaraty Prize of Contemporary Arts, both in 2013. In 2015, she was selected by The Swatch Art Peace Hotel for a 6 months’ artist-in-residence program in Shanghai - China.
