Remaking Nepal
Project info

One year on from the devastating earthquake of 2015, Nepalese people have been rebuilding their lives. The medieval streets of Patan city are now an incongruous collection of precarious old buildings propped with wooden struts, random piles of rubble and building materials, and shining metal shelters to house displaced families. Despite the seemingly gargantuan task, people are defiantly carrying on: from the mundane to the spiritual, lives are being rethreaded and remade.
