Find Me Here by Iris Duvekot

Two of my favorite things in life are the ability to observe and to feel. My photography is of personal matter and it must therefor feel real to me. I want to connect. This can either be sharing a moment with a stranger or a feeling of fulfilment when traveling by myself in a deserted place with only a small stylus epic. It can be either beautiful or sad. It can either be a person or a place. But it is always personal. Duality in particular characterises my work. The recorded reality is amplified and coloured, which places the image out of context. The result is a fantasy based on reality. However, the fantasy is never faultless; there is always something that causes friction. I have submitted two kinds of work. The landscapes and also the portraits.
