Après Minuit

The Après Minuit project contains a series of portraits with young persons who are in a psycho physical condition or mental depression. This situation on their faces derived from fatigue or discomfort, so they are sluggish, inactive, in a state of befuddle. All the persons are committed to a scene or an idea which the viewer can not observe, but assumes either that exists in the vision field of persons within the image, or that is located in their dream world. The project was implemented by taking several elements from noir movies and especially from the movie ‘Les rencontres d'après minuit’ by the French director Yann Gonzalez, as in the portraits there are projections with images from the film itself.
