Our Deployment: Kabul, Afghanistan

I am currently deployed in Afghanistan with 27 other soldiers from our New York National Guard unit. I am working to build a body of work that tells a story about the American soldier that isn't just about the war, but about a much smaller window revealing daily struggles and hidden comradery.
