I took these close up portraits of people I saw in public places in Buenos Aires. I have been doing that for three years. I am amazed at these fleeting encounters, seeing such singular faces walking by, with stories written in the gestures, their dress, or the way they look into your eyes. When I ask to take their photos, many times we start a conversation. They forget about the camera. And I think the connection we make results in photographs that are more intimate than they otherwise might be. And more universal
