Portraits of Mumbai

I have been living in Mumbai for over three years. From a press photography background, I don’t like to set up shots. The thrill and challenge of capturing the subject as it is provides a soul to the image which can’t otherwise be achieved. My series of portraits are of the people that make up the tapestry of the fabric of the city. Mumbai has over 25 million people and I am fascinated how people live in harmony with so many different cultures and religions, all with the unwavering quest to get ahead in life.
