In the middle of downtown, across the famous 6th street in Austin with all the bars and clubs, you can find the "Arch" - a homeless shelter.
Around this shelter a lot homeless meet to kill some time and watching the young folk going to party.
Besides of the American polished world of glitz with big cars, houses and expensive wines, live the losers of the society.
The left behinds who didn't make it to join the dream. Because of the economy crisis and the credit system lots of people live at the edge or they even can't afford an apartment.
But everyone has his own story to tell. Some are veterans, were abused as a child, did know the wrong people, lost their jobs or they just dont want to be part of the system....
Whatever their story is, the problems are the same: Finding a shelter, get some food, maybe some work.
Luckily there is the state who spent 185 Dollar per month. And luckily there is the Arch. Because if you win the daily lottery, you can have a roof for the night and a mattress.
