I'm an amateur photographer, have been experimenting with natural light and low light levels that cast shadows across the subjects face or highlight specific features. I know I have a lot more work to do but thought I would give it a go and enter the competition, if not just for some advice about how I am progressing. The black and white male is me, I set that shot up using the fujifilm app on my iPhone.
