Panoportraits

I have given this series the name „Panoportraits” because the portraits are embedded into 360 degree panoramas. My goal was to examine the behavior of characters - individuals and groups - in those particular spatial structures, which are normally used at projections such panoramas onto the imaging plane (spherical, cylindrical, mercator, panini, etc projections). Images 1, 5 and 10 were taken in 2008 in Budapest, Hungary, the rest at Krems, Austria, during an Artist in Residency, 2009.
