Vanuatu is a tiny country of less than 200,000 people spread over 85 small islands in the Pacific. I travelled for a month in Vanuatu documenting the diversity of cultures from steadfastly traditional "Kastom" villages to t-shirt wearing bus drivers, farmers and market stall holders. Life is slow, unfussed and traditions vary - but it always feel uniquely Vanuatu. The authenticity of the people is on open display like the fruit and vegetables in the local markets - bright, fresh, sustaining and local.
