Habana, Cuba Dec. 2016
I use photography as a means of conversation between the viewer, the subject, and myself. My goal is to approach the medium by interacting with my surrounding environment and encapsulating it to the best of my ability. I endeavor to use portrait photography in order to bring humanity, compassion, and understanding to a community, situation, or issue that may not be widely know. In Dec. 2016, I traveled with a group of photographers to Habana, Cuba. During my time there, I was introduced to street photography and was able to practice my conversation skills in another language.
