Jungleprints is a portrait attempt made through the construction of abstract images -in contrast with the meticulous strategy of deadpan photography- to create visual impressions of the extraordinary Amazonian jungle.
Jungleprints are unique- just like human fingerprints- but unlike those they are impossible to replicate. The intrincated process of capture by panning at high speed under relatively long exposures, combined with the constant landscape changes product of the extreme wind, rain and sunshine creates a scenery that changes literally, hour by hour.
This collection was taken whilst travelling through different pathways deep in the lush Equadorian rainforest.
