Children Of Africa

These images will focus on the children of a farming community located in the Delta State of Nigeria. Earning the trust of these young people was a difficult task. However, with a lot of playing and joking around for a couple of days I was able to earn their trust and they allowed me to photographic them at will. Living here in the United States, It’s easy to feel the harsh reality of everyday life closing in from all sides. When it seems to much for me, I take a break and look at the various photos of the children I’ve photographed through out all of Africa over the last 25 years of my career and it helps me remember what is truly important.
