A journey in Italian Carnivals
Project info

Carrasecare, Voschankh, Vosenòcht and Carnevale are only four of the many ways the Carnival is named in Italy. This happens because of cultural differences between towns and regions that include dialects or sometimes an entire language. This characteristics bring people to live Carnival in different ways: everyone has traditions which may vary a lot, from the famous carnival of Venice to the wooden masks in Dolomites and the bucolic ones in Sardinia. Despite this, it is common to all that putting a mask and pretending to be someone or something else starts a journey in a world made of joy, pain, emotions and instincts of the human nature.
