Camping at tent city in a tiny town of Birdsville in the middle of nowhere,
furthest outback far far west Queensland,
of a population of over 100 to a population to over 7000 visitors from all over Australia. Camping onto this tiny town of Birdsville to see the Birdsville races on the first weekend of September every year. No wonder they call it the Melbourne cup of the outback.
The People at the Birdsville Races
made my feeling of belonging to the Australian outback.
This is as Australia as you can get.
Mixing with Stockmans, Farmers, Country Locals, Diamantina Drovers
At the Birdsville Races, I saw people from the Diamantina region of far Outback Far western Queensland, they clearly represent the harshness of life living in the isolated outback
Seeing Outback Queensland is defiantly is the road less traveled as far tourists concerned.
At least traveling around outback Queensland, 6,000 km I have a story to tell.
