I think the meaning of Bresson’s “decisive moments” has been overestimated when the photography aims to tell a story. In other words, decisive moments are not always the best way to tell a story through a photo. It can be a good photo, but it might not be able to tell what is happening. There should be a decisive moment, but from the perspective of telling a story, it might not be the same with Bresson's decisive moments. And this is what I am trying to do with my photos.
