Dead Soon

Trying to step on the narrow path between life and death, Dead Soon provides a profound experience that allows the viewer a glimpse into the inner universe of our physicality and its most finite representation (cremains) only to find notions of the moving cosmos, Gabriela Reyes Fuchs captured mesmerizing multicolored nebulae and fluorescence of unknown origin discovered when she looked at her father´s ashes utilizing a bright field microscope at UNAM’s MicroFilm Lab only days after his passage, this images resembling the cosmos explore the near multiverses that with the naked eye one would be unable to see, raising the tension between different aspects of our selves, as human beings, in a collective frame.
