Alvaro, Daily Life Of A Drug Addict

Alvaro Felix Santos (43) addited to drugs since he was 22 years old, needs his fix of heroin at least once or twice a day. His life revolves around finding the money to aquire the drugs and taking them. Since the death of his monther a year ago, he has lived alone in a low rent apartment in the run down area of Poligono San Benito in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. He contracted poio at a year old and is now 66% disabled and forced to always use crutches. He lives on 367 euros a month which is barely sufficient for even a week. Alvaro is shy and introverted. He regrets not having had the strength to get off drugs before his monther’s death.
