Voices

My work, both here and in other countries, focuses on empowerment of women and through them, their children and community. At home, I create healing portraits of women who are survivors of sexual and physical abuse, used in exhibits and books to create awareness and empowerment, and foster healing. In other countries I've worked with non-profits, documenting the circumstances women and their children endure, helping raise awareness and funding of programs to help empower women to change their path.
