Between the storm and the calm
Personal and intimate photography is debated here, between two realities: the capture of nature itself and its conception, in full physical and mental effervescence. Snapshots, in this case of the sea and its force, appear in all their crudity with a bravery that strikes both the coast and the personal, physical and intrinsic perception. They represent and trap the instability and violence of the sea that are interspersed with stillness and calm, with the presence of impersonal figures and objects that mimic the environment. It is nature in action, in all its splendor, that stirs the mind and the focus of attention; A nature that is power, strength and ultimately life ... but also, in contrast, is chaos and destruction.
