The process of individual motorization of Polish society, begun in the mid-1970s following the political transformation in 1989, has reached unprecedented proportions in Europe. The car became a symbol of private ownership. Many people became the target of the business. Representation of social status. Horizon of dreams. Imported from Western Europe, mostly used car for many years, became almost family members. They were often talked about.              Most of the photos of the car project were created in 1989. I wanted to capture the atmosphere of the beginning of the transformation of the system by showing the cars that were being driven at that time.              Today it is hard to see such cars on the street today.              The number of cars per 1000 inhabitants exceeds the European average.
