The Land of the Northern Lights (Maja), 2015 –

The Faroese Maja is visiting and becoming familiar with the small town in the Southern Finnish Lapland, in the Tornio River Valley. On our walk around the town we stumble upon this tag on an abandoned old supermarket wall. You can still see the opening hours in the window even if the shop is far gone. This specific location and tag in the urban landscape have become an icon, a visited place for visitors and towns folk alike.
