This project was really a labour of love, getting to photographer my high riding heroes.
It started out by me shooting some commercial work for Wrangler jeans and finding out that there were some big issues facing the life of the rancher.
I worked on this body of work for nearly 5 years travelling back and forth from the UK mainly to Texas.
it was shot on film as in those days digital hadn't started so i travelled with a MPP 4x5 camera, a hasselblad Xpan and of course my trusty Leica's 3x M6's.
The work was shown in the Levis stores in many countries and published by Macmillan.
2018 sees the work being re published.
