As a cinematographer by trade but with a passion for photojournalism and street photography, my work often seems to fit under stylized realism. Aside from some studio work I mostly shoot candid photography with available light. I love portraiture and studying the work of masters such as Cartier Bresson, Capa, Elliott Erwit, William Eggleston, Irving Penn and many others. I am most impressed with how an image can make something ordinary or banal seem extraordinary. I love how simple images and portraits can tell the viewer a complete story about life and the human condition.
