Between Human and Divine!
Project info

This body of work was taken between Portugal and Cameroon.
The project explores our core human values and Religion. It addresses the different cultures faced by a fractured society and elicits from this broken place the human values that unite us across cultures.

The Fatima pilgrim, Portugal, meditates on Our Lady’s direct interception of lived human experience. It is both a spiritual and physical journey, it is passion in joy and pain. The pilgrims push themselves to the furthest limit, some complete the last remaining yards on their knees.

The fundamental idea of the Traditional Healers, Cameroon is that religion is a supernatural phenomenon governed by a hierarchy of vital powers beginning with a most powerful deity followed by lesser spiritual entities, ancestral spirits, living persons, animals, plants, and other objects.
