Straddling the line between staged and candid imagery, my work seeks out quiet and often isolated moments in the city. Unlike a lot of street photography, my lens is less concerned with the bustle and population of our metropolis, but more with elevating and accentuating how solitary and isolating one’s experience in a city of millions can be. With attention to vibrant color and often a dry humor, I strive to make work that is triumphant in its treatment of desolation.
